How to decline to review a paper?
You may not wish to review a paper that has been assigned to you for the following reasons:
It is not within your area of expertise
You do not have time to review it
There is a conflict of interest
If this is the case, you can decline to review the paper through the Morressier platform.
To do this, select the three bars in the top left corner of your Morressier homepage, and click 'Manage' on the conference you are a reviewer for:
Here, you will find the papers assigned to you by the Conference Organizers, and the status of these papers:
By clicking on the paper you wish to decline to review, you will be presented with a pop up box with a red 'Decline Review' button:
By clicking this, you will have declined the paper, and should see the status of it updated as shown:
If you wish to let the Conference Organizers know your reasons for declining to review a paper, you can contact them directly.
You can usually find their contact details on the event homepage.
