The last step of your poster submission asks if you consent to allow your poster to be made available publicly.

We believe that open-access is desired by many researchers, and we have built a platform to support this movement. Nevertheless, we fully respect an author's wishes to keep their work private. In other words, submitting authors can choose whether or not they would like their poster to be viewable and shareable on the conference's platform page.

Will this affect my Poster presentation at the conference?

Not at all. At the conference, your poster will be loaded into our iPad app, and you will be able to use all the built-in presentation features. However, the ability to have your poster shared or downloaded will be disabled, which will reduce the exposure of your research. Additionally, your poster will not be presented on the Morressier platform page.

If you decide to make your poster public, however, you become part of the movement towards open-access research. Your work can be shared digitally with those who are interested in what you have achieved, and you will ultimately have a greater impact in your field.

At the end of the poster submission process, you will be presented with two choices:

  • YES: Poster is public, and benefits from all features and services available before, during, and after the conference, as allowed by the conference organiser. You also become part of the open-access movement.
  • NO: Poster is private; benefits only from the presentation software during the conference

For any further concerns or questions about the privacy of the work you are submitting, please do not hesitate to contact our team directly, using the chat widget on the bottom right corner.
